Dr. Arthur Tykocinski
About
In over 20 years working in the dermatological field, Dr. Tykocinski has published several studies, interviews and chapters of important books such as Hair Transplantation, by Unger & Shapiro, where he wrote 3 chapters in the 5th edition of the book, which is the greatest world reference in the field (2010). Dr. Tykocinski has been invited to participate in several medical symposia, workshops, congresses and round tables. Since 2001, he has been invited to participate in the ISHRS Annual Workshop. In 1997, he organized the first workshop in Brazil on the follicular technique at the “IX Brazilian Conference on Dermatological Surgery” in Brasília. His first international class was in 1998: “Correction of Unesthetic Hair Transplant with Intense Pulsed Light” at the VI Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Washington, USA. *He presided over the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery- ISHRS , in 2019; *Chaired the 1st ISHRS World FUE Hair Transplant Workshop, Poland, 2017; *Chaired the 5th Brazilian Congress of Hair Restoration, Maresias, 2014; *He was the first non-English speaking physician to preside over an international Hair Transplant congress - 16th Annual Scientific Meeting, Montreal, Canada 2008; *Performs FUT and FUE Hair Transplant techniques ; *He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology – SBD – and the Brazilian Association of Hair Restoration Surgery – ABCRC; *He studied with Dr. Ron Shapiro in the United States in 1996, and in the same year he implemented the use of the Follicular Transplant technique in Brazil; *He graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Santa Casa de São Paulo, and since 1993 he has dedicated himself exclusively to Hair Transplants.
